to be able not to write about something that hurts and pinches you but have to forget about the world, about what is told, about what you read, and about what you hear.
Perhaps
you have to get your rags and money (provided you have some) and go to the hills, climb them, go down again and enter the bubble
where you won't be able to
read-hear-listen-live-experience-be
anything but
what you are fed.
I have the feeling, the unmistakably feeling
that these fellows are living under a
soft tyranny
and by soft I mean without the usual killing and disappearing
usually associated to tyrannies.
Notwithstanding
they live in something of that sorts.

Forget about the nonsense of:
freedom (of speech, travel, thought: http://www.commondreams.org/views05/0603-29.htm)
fulfilling a dream
sharing
promoting people's equity
because they are nothing but
empty words
wildcards useful depending on the political need.

I am sorry for these fellows because what they are now discovering
has been a known fact for many years in other places.
They just happen to know now what everyone else commented before
out of the bubble.
Perhaps
they are not much different than us in the sense
that it seems we all need a purpose
an ultimate purpose
call it patriotism, sense of belonging, sense of being
the chosen one
and then you proceed and do what you're told
and obey
and obey
and move along without thinking nor asking nor wondering
just being spoon-fed all
their truth, lies, misbeliefs, and nonsense.

Perhaps to feel
that it is a pathetic situation won't save us
from harm
as we are all in the same boat
so they say
so
they say.
Perhaps to say the word "absurd" is the answer...
Beware
as intelligence is not in vogue anymore
and perhaps,
like in many past examples of human irrationality,
(and by all means, with every human life)
death comes from the inside.

Perhaps then
these fellows will open their eyes
and see things as they are.
The world will be four steps ahead
(at least in that regard)
for
why do we need all those weapons here on earth and there in the skies?
why do we impose our non-acceptance of other people's faith as the rule?
why fear rules and stupidity is appointed?
Now
in a more down-2-earth mindset,
they are about to suffer in their own flesh what has been a calamity in
third world countries: privatisation.

In a world where market rather than economics rule, who is to trust
private hands?
What is the top priority of private hands?
Not that you and me seat at the same table with he, she, them....

Paradise, my friend, will not come.
It will not come because its true sound is too much of a resemblance of "communism".
Paradise will not come because to be in paradise would be
that we all are middle class....
Have they thought about it?
I wonder if they had....
That would mean that we are all the same,
no privileges, no vetoes, not you more powerful than me
nothing of that crab that sounds so red, so liberal, so... third world.

Perhaps when these people there
in their soft tyranny
stop their common pace of munching packed life,
they will reflect about this.
